To fix the functions.php error, I recommend deleting the Xtra WordPress theme and reinstalling it. If the error persists after doing this, please submit a support ticket to us.

 

Some common reasons for this error include:

• Incorrect Coding: If you recently made changes to the functions.php file, a small mistake in the code might be causing the error.
• Plugin Conflicts: Some plugins may be incompatible with the Extra theme, leading to errors in the functions.php file.
• Incomplete or Failed Update: Sometimes, an update to the theme or plugins may not complete successfully, which can cause issues with the theme files.
• Insufficient PHP Memory: If your server has low PHP memory, this could lead to errors when loading the theme.
• Theme Conflicts: If you have multiple themes installed or activated, they might be conflicting with each other, causing this error.

To downgrade to the previous versions of the Xtra Theme and Codevz Plus, you need to send us a ticket directly.
Log in from www.codevz.ticksy.com and send us a ticket to send you the older version of the Xtra Theme and Codevz plus .

4. Do again from steps 1 to 3 for Themes

4. Click on View and Download button
5. Download theme and plugins

2. Click on Add New Theme button
3. Click on Upload button
4. Upload xtra.zip file and click on upload button
5. Wait for uploading process

1. Download FileZilla or any FTP application
2. Install application on your computer
3. Open application and connect to your FTP server
4. Go to wp-content > themes
5. Unzip xtra.zip file and Upload xtra folder to FTP

Installation of plugins is exactly like step 02, but this time you need to unzip plugin ZIP file and upload plugin folder into wp-content > plugins directory. Then go to your site dashboard and enable theme and plugins.

In your WordPress website admin page, go to Dashboard > Updates and click on check updates, then if there be an updates, you will get notification for it. Other solution is download package again from themeforest.

When logged into your Themeforest.net account, you can visit your Downloads tab and find your theme purchase. Below it is a check box that says “Get notified by email if this item is updated”. Please check that box and you will be notified when we submit a new theme update.

1. Go to Dashboard > Plugins
2. Deactivate WPBakery plugin
3. Delete WPBakery plugin
4. Go to Appearance > Install Plugins
5. Install new WPBakery plugin

• Other solution – XTRA theme provides automatic updates and by visiting Dashboard > Updates you can see new update of plugins and theme, click on update button you can update any of them.

Download the latest version of Xtra Theme from ThemeForest download page or from your account in our website.

• Unzip the theme files and change the folder name to ABC

Find and modify the style.css file by changing the theme name to ABC

Zip the new files and upload it instead of the old theme in your hosting.

Do not change the Text Domain in style.css, it will caused translation issues.
